Among others, P.F. Potvin has worked as a janitor, student athletic recruiter, dishwasher, ESL instructor, nanny, outdoor equipment sales associate, house painter, substitute teacher, block plant laborer, writing professor, restaurant prep., and noxious weed collector.
He holds an MFA from Bennington Writing Seminars, where he received the Jane Kenyon Poetry Scholarship. His manuscripts have been finalists for the New Issues Press Competition and the Poetry Center Prize. His writing has appeared in Boston Review, Born Magazine, Slope, Sentence, Passages North, Pierogi Press, and elsewhere. He is on the editorial staff of Drunken Boat and is currently a runner and musician at large in Miami, FL.
