Jill Alexander Essbaum is the author of two chapbooks and three full-length collections of poems including No Tell Books’ Harlot. She is an instructor in the UC-R Palm Desert Low Residency MFA program. Her poems have appeared in many journals and anthologies including Poetry, The Christian Century, Gulf Coast, The Best American Poetry series, Christianity and Literature, and others. She is most passionate about God, Old Time Radio, Nick Cave, synchronicity, dominos, human sexuality, 1970s Black television, Archie Comics, and, of late, her new pair of white roller skates. And her debt of gratitude to No Tell Motel and No Tell Books and Molly Arden and Reb Livingston is deep. Like: bottomless lake deep.
